In February 2007 I auctioned myself off on eBay as a "date" to the Super Bowl. I couldn't afford the $4,000 to buy a ticket to see my beloved Chicago Bears in the big game, so I knew I had to get creative. I was hoping a radio station or company might see the PR stunt and give me a ticket. EBay took the auction down, but not before my story became a bit of a national phenomenon. The people from Axe male grooming products called me less than 48 hours after my eBay ad went up and offered me 4 tickets to the game -- 3 for me and my girlfriends and 1 for a lucky contest winner who would be our "date" to the Super Bowl. After reading over 1300 email entries, I selected a winner. In the week before the game and in the days following it, I did over 60 radio, TV and newspaper interviews.
